OUR LOGO
John Berger starts his book, Ways of Seeing, “Seeing comes before words. The child looks and recognises before it can speak. It is seeing which establishes our place in the surrounding world”.
We can also say, writing is picturing the voices and illustrated letters let the voice become images.
In this sense, the logo for the Children’s Picture Books Symposium embodies the letter ‘A’, the first letter of the alphabet, which evokes feelings of dreaming, new horizons, flying, developing wings and illustrating…
Our logo was designed by Markapala, which allows it to be used in future events.
